A high water tower filled with water creates pressure gradually increasing with depth - and like layers in a cake there are many layers of pressure, and each is different yet consistent. It is these differences in pressure that powers Hidro.
Juxtaposed: a beach ball floats in the water tower, it's mostly air so it doesn't sink, but the water column has upthrust which is a force, which is holding up the part of the ball submerged in the water. The water column underneath the ball is a constant, always working, always pushing the ball up. The force of buoyancy which is always "on" 24 x 7 also powers Hidro.
A high column of water may be likened to a penstock. In hydro-electricity water falls through a penstock (a pipe) into a turbine which turns and generates electricity, but Hidro only releases a small portion, 2 or 3% but with a large force. It is the differences in pressure that supplies the energy that forces water, the thrust, that drives the piston.
As the water column is only depleted 3%, a second burst of water is channelled to return all the water back to the top - not unlike pumped storage - re-filling the water column enabling repetition.
Hidro harnesses the differences of pressure to drive a unique Hydromechanical System using gravity, buoyancy, pressure gradients and gas density gradients. The differences of pressure are harnessed by the patented "Reverse Thruster Pressure Equaliser Chamber (RETPEC). The availability and reliability of gravity, pressure and water ensures the machine is always primed.
When fresh water meets salt water separated by a membrane, osmosis demands the fresh water merges with the salt water creating a 120 meter high column of water suitable to make hydro-electricity - powered through the difference of salinity STATKRAFT.

relies upon the existing thermal gradient stored in oceans, and uses the difference in temperature and pressure, between deep cold and warm surface water to produce electricity - with 3 different methods, open, closed and hybrid.
Hidro has chosen pressure and land based in a controllable and manageable vessel - one that has a smaller footprint that wind - and can be placed virtually anywhere - housed out of sight - 24 x 7 - no fuel, no emission, no waste... by using the malleable properties of water, gravity and pressure.
If the wind blew all the time or the sun shone 24 hours - but they don't - gravity and pressure do. Both gravity and pressure are available all day and all night - deep water pressure gradients are available 24 x 7 - forever - and using Hidro's uflisation of pressure produces power. This is Renewable Energy at its' finest.

The cycle works in harmony, the thrust, evacuation and equalising, they all work in sequence. The Hydromechanical System with Archimedes, Newton, Pascal and Bernoulli principles using the power of the water column - discharges 3% of water volume which provides the thrust - the power stroke (that 3% water must be pumped back up later) the mechanics and timings are such that it is continuous in motion - each cycle taking about 4 seconds. Ergo the power harnessed is greater than the energy required to pump it back up.

How Does it work?
HidroPlus generates electricity by using the hydrostatic pressure differences of water in a sealed column of water, the natural mass of the water and gravity. At the top of a water column the pressure is low, at the bottom the pressure is high. Energy cannot be created or destroyed, only changed from one form to another.
Hydrostatic pressure energy is the energy that comes from the body of water, from the potential energy originated by water-mass and gravity that becomes force. This potential energy is always in existence in the way you can always float in a swimming pool due to the water-force countering your body weight. This water-force existence is almost infinite in the manner as floatation exists every time you re-enter a swimming pool.
The column of water in HidroPlus technology always remains 98 – 100% full therefore the potential energy (PE) as determined by the mass (m) of the water, gravity (g) and height (h) of the column is always present (PE =mgh). The potential energy of the water column is converted to kinetic energy by allowing 2% of the column of water to open a series of values, drive pistons and gears to turn a fly wheel linked to a generator. This water is then mechanically returned to the top of the column and the process is repeated for a continuos renewable energy.
The harnessing of these potential energy and forces in the mechanical systems and devices for electrical energy conversion is highly innovative and the centre piece of the technological breakthrough and patented innovations.
